About Kyvoo

Our Story

In aviation, CAVU stands for “Ceiling And Visibility Unlimited.”
It describes ideal flying conditions. Clear skies. Perfect visibility. No surprises.

Our company was founded by pilots, so that idea stuck with us. CAVU captured how we believe work should feel and how decisions should be made. With clarity. With confidence.

That idea became Kyvoo, pronounced KY‑voo.

The name reflects the kind of company we set out to build. One focused on trust. Practical execution. And creating something that holds up in the real world, not just in a demo. That mindset led directly to Kyvoo’s flagship product, Assist.

Richard Wilson, our CEO and CTO, is a serial entrepreneur with decades of experience across technology and business. He has worked in organizations at every stage, from early startups to IPOs, and across industries including aviation, finance, retail, manufacturing, and enterprise technology. Over time, he’s seen where technology creates real value, and where it quietly fails once it meets real operations.

That perspective shaped Assist from the beginning. The goal was never novelty. It was to build something that delivers measurable results inside real businesses, especially where accuracy, consistency, and control matter.

Richard has worked in AI and enterprise consulting for decades. He’s seen both the promise and the risk. The excitement, and the friction that follows when systems move from experimentation into production. Conversations around those challenges, especially with Burt, became the catalyst for launching Kyvoo.

Burt Stevens, our COO and Chief Legal Officer, is one of fewer than 800 Master Certified Flight Instructors in the world. He’s also a lawyer and a lifelong entrepreneur who has built and operated multiple businesses. His background combines precision, risk management, and execution. The same qualities required to fly safely matter just as much when building and scaling a company.

Molly Stevens, our CFO, completes the founding team. She has spent her career funding, operating, and supporting growing businesses. Her experience and backing made it possible to turn an idea into a company, and to do it with discipline. She helped shape a culture focused on accountability, trust, and practical decision‑making.

Whether you’re evaluating an investment, deploying AI inside your organization, or making decisions that carry real consequences, we believe good outcomes start with clarity and confidence in what you’re seeing.

That’s what Kyvoo is built to support.

We wish you nothing but CAVU.
Or, as we like to say, Kyvoo skies.
